This is a series of letters written by Captain Voyd Tromblee of 168th Infantry Regiment 34th Infantry Division Company B in the United States Army. Tromblee and his wife correspond back and forth as he and his unit journey across Europe and into North Africa fighting the Axis and their Alleys. These letters and ephemera cover the years from 1940 through 1953. Tromblee and his wife were stationed at several locations throughout the world and collected and kept a lot of associated ephemera. There are also photographs of both of them included but you really should read the letters before you explore the rest of this unique collection.
